    The internet has both stimulated and hindred the music industry, but more so the former, IMO. Sure, most people can easily find free mp3s just using google and youtube downloaders, but look at the exposure some artists get: millions of views, and the way youtube links you to the itunes purchase further pushes the artists sales. Just about anyone with a good camera and idea can become of celebrity status over the corse of days.

    to get more album sales and to help the industry artists have to stop making their album downloadable. make people buy the physical copy.

    @Jason22801 Great Jason. Just because the old Music Industry model is struggling it doesn’t mean that music itself is. We have to move with the technological changes and learn the skills to promote music online. Music is healthier and more creative than ever.
